The Music That Fell From the Sky (1959)

On February 3, 1959, a plane carrying musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson crashed shortly after takeoff in Iowa. The loss stunned the country, and the day would later be remembered as “The Day the Music Died.”
