Who was Ethel Berry, “Bride of the 1896 Klondike Gold Rush”?

Tough. Extremely lucky. Sharp. That sums up Ethel Berry.

She and her husband survived the brutal Yukon environment and struck gold. Most people gave up during the long journeys to find gold. Fewer ever sniffed a speck of real gold.

The couple may’ve never become millionaires if not for the husband taking a part-time job as a bartender.
